Okay, not a reach

Okay, not a reach. Nick Fairley, two months ago the consensus #1 overall pick, fell to the Lions at 1.13. Early-ish tomorrow I will explain why this is awesome. Stay tuned for it. For now, I sleep.

Could you re-mock the second and third? At least, potential good fit picks for us at our picks in 2 and 3...
I like Aaron Williams at corner, but don't know if he will be there. Dowling could be special too, and will probably be available.
I would have loved Bruce Carter in the second, but since we picked Fairley, not sure I would want a nother player that is not able to fill a hole this year (this high in the draft).
I was thinking about the abundance of first round talent on the Lions roster. There are the ones we've drafted throughout the year:
Stafford
CJ
Best
Suh
Fairley
Cherilus
Backus
Pettegrew
There are also the former 1st rounders that we've traded for:
Lo-Jack
Alphonso Smith
That's 10 first rounders, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. My question is, how does this stack up against the rest of the league? How much 1st round talent is average in the NFL?
